TRAVEL THROUGH THE MYSTERIOUS PORTALS TO FIND THE FIVE FRAGMENTS OF LIGHT!

TO START DESIGNING, START BY DECORATING!

The setting is quite similar to what a classic JRPG would look like. It has been carefully crafted using predefined tilesets, respecting the scale and perspective in Top Down.

 
The narrative framework introduces the player to a fantastic and animated atmosphere in a rather chubby and cute way, friendly to all those indie fans looking to escape in small moments of fun. 

EASY TO ASSIMILATE MECHANICS

The character's mechanics are fairly conventional and easy for the player to assimilate:

​

  • A melee attack with a sword

  • Attack from a distance within a certain range with arrows

  • Protection from enemies attacks

  • Dash is a way to flee from enemies in certain areas or ambushes.

  • Implementation of a trading system. As an RPG, the in-game currency could be present. These coins are hidden throughout the world, and at times to access certain places; it is necessary to make use of them.

  • Implementation of life items to recover health.

  • Increase the life amount. In the beginning, the player has three hearts of life, but he can get more.

ENEMIES BEHAVIOR

Enemies have different varieties: Some hit with melee weapons, and others attack from a distance. These have been designed considering several parameters of attacks, resistance,  speed,...   Can you defeat them?

Discover the dungeon masters. Each of them has a quality that makes them a formidable boss. They contain the same movement pattern as the previous ones but are more solid and with the possibility of summoning minions. This tests whether the player has dominated the fight with the previous ones.

 

These masters have spread the shards of light throughout the realm, so not only will the player have to defeat them, but exploration will be key to achieving this.
